To the person who wrote the other review. I was employed by Mr. Wallace on that project and I can tell you the only reason he screwed you over was because a house next door sold for $40,000 more than what he sold to you for so he wanted more money from you. I later injured myself at work under his employ and was subsequently fired. I was unable to get medical help and have since been reduced to homelessness. I suggest you do in fact sue him.

JR Homes, owner Earl Wallace is an unscrupulous person. I had an accepted offer for his asking price on a new build house in Nanaimo BC on 279 Cambie rd. It was apparent the house would not be ready on closing date. He never came to the final inspection. Regardless we gave him another week to finish. On the moving and closing day as we were 10 minutes away from the house with the moving truck behind us,I received a ll from my lawyer saying that Earl Wallace refused to sign over title at his lawyers and said let them sue me in response. He later drunkenly called me to explain his actions and then I was informed that title would not be handed over the next day. His actions left my family homeless, had to put our belongings into storage, and cost us thousands. It is my advice to all to steer clear of this person at all costs. I would not want a family to go through the hell we had to endure for that month.
